Old Challenge Characters

This page will depict the different main characters throughout the generations. This will be organized by generation, though will also see their ranking. The profile for the Kings & Queens will also be kept here since the King's traits affect how my game must be played.

Generation One

Rebecca Du Casse
Outlaw
Brave, Night Owl, Bookworm, Loves the Heat, Angler

Rebecca was once engaged to the King of the Land but a terrible plot from her older sister ensured that she was cast from the throne and into the dungeon. Only by the kindness of the Captain of the Guards did she escape with her life only to find she was a fugitive in the land. She dreams of her revenge by taking the throne for her own children or grand-children. She is a kind woman but can be easily angered by small things.

William Silverthorn
Outlaw
Good, Gather, Loves the Heat, Athletic, Angler

William had grown up with Derick, the current King, and they had been good friends throughout their childhood. When Derick was offered one of the Du Casse daughters as his bride, William secretly had hoped Derick would choose the older one but his hopes were unfounded and Derick was engaged to Rebecca Du Casse. When William heard of her supposed "betrayal" and her sentence, he gave up his cushioned life in order to save her's. Despite what many may think of him, he is a loyal man but he will always question those he follows to ensure he does not do more harm than good.

His Royal Highness King Derick Royal
Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth Royal
Loves to Swim, Dramatic, Family Oriented, Party Animal, Perceptive

Generation Two

Claire Silverthorn
Minstel
TBA

Claire is the only surviving child of Rebecca and William. She cannot remember the fear that her parents lived in, but she has plenty of her own. Winter has always  been her enemy. But when a strange young man arrives in town and begins to change her way of life, he may just change her views on winter - and what happened to her family and the life she once knew.

Song Silverthorn
Minstel
TBA

Song came to town to escape his own past. A runaway with no last name, he eventually meets up with Claire and has a life changing moment. The two decide to work together instead of against each other. He eventually, falls in love with her. He refuses to talk about his own past, but he has been insistent in digging up Claire's; especially the answer to the question of why she hates winter so much.

His Royal Highness King Abner Royal
Her Royal Highness Queen Catherine Royal
Easily Impressed, Childish, Athletic, Loner, Green Thumb

Old Challenge Chapters

The chapters will be separated by what ranking they are, not generation. This is the first challenge, which was lost when I suffered a hard drive crash. I can't bear to be rid of them though and they will remain here if you'd like to read them.

Three Years Later

Heyo everyone, three years later I remember this blog. I miss the Silverthorns. I miss them alot, but sadly due to a computer crash the save is gone forever. I'd have to restart the challenge but honestly? I think I'm going to. I'm gonna make a different plot though, so it doesn't get boring. I will be posting it here when I restart the challenge and I hope to see you all then :)

IV.I. Our Own

Life was hard, living on the farm. Clair gave birth to twins - Neal and Nara. Both of them were so sweet and tiny. She loved them so much, even if they stretched their wallet more than she would like. The King gave them some mercy for their first season in their new home. Usually their bills would be 5,000 every season, but he told them if they could come up with half of that this time, it would be alright. They had less than a half a season to raise the money. Claire knew it would be hard,

III.VII. Another Start

Claire was expecting. This was terrifying and exciting all at once. She didn't think she was ready to be a mother again with her young sister and her son to take care of, not to mention the Royal's children.

III.VI. Growing Up

Cein didn't like sitting in the room with the other ghost girl and he cried loudly for his parents. She scared him - he didn't know her and she was cold.

A Short Intermission

Hello readers! I have to tell you that while I have enough pictures to get me quite a few more chapters, there may be a short intermission after that. I have ordered a new computer and it set to arrive to me on Thursday! I'm very excited for this as you can imagine - as this computer should be EASILY able to run Sims 3 without a problem! So - I look forward to writing many more chapters for this legacy with hopefully much better graphics! See you soon! :)

III.V. By the Grave

Claire looked at the little Prince, his wings so bright and beautiful behind him. He made her believe in magic. He made her think of the strange dreams she had been having lately. Dreams of her mother, telling her to go to the graveyard...

III.IV. Life of a Servant

Life was great from the Silverthorns in the palace. They had plenty of food to eat, they had work to do and they had their son. Sure, it was hard work, but it was good work. Work that they felt good about doing.

III.III Cein

It was a rainy day when Claire went into labor with her own child. She was in the garden, tending to it as always when she felt the first pains of labor.

III.II Special Indeed

Life was good. Claire enjoyed tending the plants. Spring has come in full and the garden needed almost constant tending. She didn't mind though, it gave her a reason to be outside.

III.I A New Chance at Life

Claire and Song stood before the King and Queen. They had been called earlier that day and had made the long walk to their castle. Night had already fallen and it made Claire feel nervous. They wouldn't make it back to town until early the next morning.

Her eyes also kept darting to her aunt, the Queen Mother. Her husband had died some time ago, not long after Abner had become the King. Her eyes fell back onto King Abner, her cousin. There was no way to tell...She looked just like her father.

II.V Dead of Winter

After our first time together, Song and Claire were rarely apart. It didn't matter if they were laying down for bed at night or if Claire was trying to get a shower in the morning, Song seemed to be there and...eager to love her in every way possible. She wouldn't lie and say she didn't enjoy it.

II.IV Time is Changing

Time passed, as it always did, Claire worked hard on her ability to sing and play her guitar. She wanted to become a master of the arts before Song returned. She hoped he would be back soon, every day he was gone was like an ache in her chest. She realized how much she liked him in that time.

II.III Goodbye

"This is where you live?" Song's voice was filled with disbelief as they walked towards the tavern. Claire had learned that he was...technically homeless. He told her that he often slept in the park or near it every night. As her new partner in music, she couldn't allow that.

"I don't really live here. I just stay here every night" She told him, rolling her eyes at his tone. "It's pretty nice. And the owner is a kind man."

Been Gone A While...

Hello everyone! Sorry for being gone so long! I will return to writing this story in time, its just I've been busy. I've moved twice and I'm still not settled and I sadly do not have internet. I've had a bit of time to play with my sims though and I've played ahead quite a bit in this legacy. I can't wait to share the next part with you all. It should be (hopefully) out on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Look forward to it! It'll be a good one c:

II.II. Tune

The memory always was static. She remembered walking up on her parents talking, but the words were always a buzz in her ear. She could never remember what they were saying. She remembered how cold the wood floors were, how the winter seemed to chill the entire building, despite the numerous torches burning within. It was dreadfully cold that night, the sky black with a storm threatening. She could remember that, even through the static.

II.I. Sweet Melody

"How does this sound, Mother?" Claire asked, pointing to the paper before her. Her blue eyes looked towards her mother, a worried look on her face.

I.VIII. Freedom

Once more they slept by the pond again. The sound of the fountain seemed to sooth Claire to sleep faster than usual.

I.VII. Future Plans

"I'm not kidding! I saw a Unicorn!" Rebecca claimed the next morning but William just scoffed.

"Rebecca, I saw the horses that were outside last night. There was only one in the area and it was that beautiful mare that you love so much"

"No, there was a Unicorn too! And he was a stallion!"
