II.IV Time is Changing

Time passed, as it always did, Claire worked hard on her ability to sing and play her guitar. She wanted to become a master of the arts before Song returned. She hoped he would be back soon, every day he was gone was like an ache in her chest. She realized how much she liked him in that time.

II.III Goodbye

"This is where you live?" Song's voice was filled with disbelief as they walked towards the tavern. Claire had learned that he was...technically homeless. He told her that he often slept in the park or near it every night. As her new partner in music, she couldn't allow that.

"I don't really live here. I just stay here every night" She told him, rolling her eyes at his tone. "It's pretty nice. And the owner is a kind man."

Been Gone A While...

Hello everyone! Sorry for being gone so long! I will return to writing this story in time, its just I've been busy. I've moved twice and I'm still not settled and I sadly do not have internet. I've had a bit of time to play with my sims though and I've played ahead quite a bit in this legacy. I can't wait to share the next part with you all. It should be (hopefully) out on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Look forward to it! It'll be a good one c:

II.II. Tune

The memory always was static. She remembered walking up on her parents talking, but the words were always a buzz in her ear. She could never remember what they were saying. She remembered how cold the wood floors were, how the winter seemed to chill the entire building, despite the numerous torches burning within. It was dreadfully cold that night, the sky black with a storm threatening. She could remember that, even through the static.

II.I. Sweet Melody

"How does this sound, Mother?" Claire asked, pointing to the paper before her. Her blue eyes looked towards her mother, a worried look on her face.

I.VIII. Freedom

Once more they slept by the pond again. The sound of the fountain seemed to sooth Claire to sleep faster than usual.

I.VII. Future Plans

"I'm not kidding! I saw a Unicorn!" Rebecca claimed the next morning but William just scoffed.

"Rebecca, I saw the horses that were outside last night. There was only one in the area and it was that beautiful mare that you love so much"

"No, there was a Unicorn too! And he was a stallion!"

I.VI. Magical

Flowers always seemed to smell better at night to William. He had picked the flower as delicately as possible to preserve its steam. Perhaps he had once been the captain of the guards, but that did not mean he was not a gentle person. It was nice to smell flowers and pretend he did not spend most days worried.

I.V. New Life

Life was pretty good at the moment for the Silverthorn family. Rebecca's stomach was swelling by the day and William seemed pretty happy too. The summer was long and their child would be born before it's end. Of course, there wouldn't be much summer left after that. Fall was coming and Winter after that.

A month prior there had been a huge announcement; the Queen had given birth to a son, the Crowned Prince Abner. It made Rebecca feel a little safer, they would be focused on the growth of their son rather than hunting down herself and William.

I.IV. Sickness

Time seemed to pass quickly for Rebecca after that. She spent alot of nights in the library until the early morning, trying to learn all she could. She needed to be knowledgeable to ensure her children would be ready to take on the Royal family with her. Of course, if that was not the life they wanted to live, she would not force it onto them.

I.III. Greater Than Before

Morning came all too soon for them and they were forced to rise, dress and take down their tent. The thought of the morning was survival as always. Their lives weren't easy, but they kept in mind that they had each other. They would find a way to survive and make the best of this situation.

I.II. Determined

Another day and we went back to fishing. It seemed to take forever for a fish to take a bite. Rebecca saw some other people at the fishing hole. It wasn't well out of town, but it was exclusive enough she thought she might be safe. Though the lad that was there with her seemed young and uninterested in the strange woman who was fishing - if he even knew she was a woman.

I.I. Outlaw

Rebecca Du Casse stood, staring almost dejectedly at the water as she fished. She had never even been this far from her home before. She was a little nervous. She reached up to brush her hair out of her face but found it much shorter than she remembered. Then she remembered who she was now and what happened.

Less than a week ago, she had been engaged to King Derick. She had been the second daughter in her family, but it was agreed upon that she was fairer and kinder than her sister with traits that would be better for the King. Of course, she didn't realize that her sister was underhanded. She had somehow convinced the good King Derick that she was seeing another man. That was completely untrue but it had her in the castle's dungeon before sundown, her engagement to Derick terminated. She sat in the dungeon, crying to the guards that she was innocent but not one listened to her.

In her darkest moment, the head of the guards came to her, sending the other guards away. When they were gone he slipped her a change of clothes and quickly cut her hair with his dagger. He told her he believed her and would help her escape with her life. He quickly changed clothes as well and the two of the fled to the port, to board a ship and escape. The King somehow knew and the ship they were to take was burned in the harbor before they could even board. Without any other options, the two of the fled into the forest, to hide from the King.
