Life was great from the Silverthorns in the palace. They had plenty of food to eat, they had work to do and they had their son. Sure, it was hard work, but it was good work. Work that they felt good about doing.

III.III Cein
It was a rainy day when Claire went into labor with her own child. She was in the garden, tending to it as always when she felt the first pains of labor.

III.II Special Indeed
Life was good. Claire enjoyed tending the plants. Spring has come in full and the garden needed almost constant tending. She didn't mind though, it gave her a reason to be outside.
III.I A New Chance at Life
Claire and Song stood before the King and Queen. They had been called earlier that day and had made the long walk to their castle. Night had already fallen and it made Claire feel nervous. They wouldn't make it back to town until early the next morning.
Her eyes also kept darting to her aunt, the Queen Mother. Her husband had died some time ago, not long after Abner had become the King. Her eyes fell back onto King Abner, her cousin. There was no way to tell...She looked just like her father.

II.V Dead of Winter
After our first time together, Song and Claire were rarely apart. It didn't matter if they were laying down for bed at night or if Claire was trying to get a shower in the morning, Song seemed to be there and...eager to love her in every way possible. She wouldn't lie and say she didn't enjoy it.

II.IV Time is Changing
Time passed, as it always did, Claire worked hard on her ability to sing and play her guitar. She wanted to become a master of the arts before Song returned. She hoped he would be back soon, every day he was gone was like an ache in her chest. She realized how much she liked him in that time.

II.III Goodbye
"This is where you live?" Song's voice was filled with disbelief as they walked towards the tavern. Claire had learned that he was...technically homeless. He told her that he often slept in the park or near it every night. As her new partner in music, she couldn't allow that.
"I don't really live here. I just stay here every night" She told him, rolling her eyes at his tone. "It's pretty nice. And the owner is a kind man."
